EKZ is one of the largest energy service providers in Switzerland and reliably supplies around one million people with electricity from 100 percent renewable energy.
The approximately 1,327 employees of the EKZ Group are committed to a sustainable energy future: with the consistent expansion of wind, hydro and solar energy as well as smart technologies such as charging solutions for electromobility. EKZ plans, builds and maintains an electricity grid that is around 15,600 kilometres long and has an above-average availability of 99.998 percent. EKZ's customers include private individuals, companies and other Swiss energy suppliers. As one of the largest providers of training in the canton of Zurich, EKZ trains 147 skilled workers in nine apprenticeships.
